Hola Restaurant is a small fast food restaurant in the Centro Historico of Santa Marta, Colombia -the oldest city in the South American continent. Santa Marta is an international tourist hub in the vicinity of the Tayrona National Park and other major ecotourism attractions in Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Maria Cristina, a native of Santa Marta, is an entrepreneur in the local real estate, food and restaurant industry. Maria Cristina wants to turn Hola into a chain of restaurants, modeled after her successful , first restaurant opened at the Centro Historico.. She contacted Primo Research to help her brand her fast food restaurant chain, such that it could be easily recognized by American tourists and would resonate with Hola’s international culinary offerings and local food fare. Maria Cristina approached us with ideas for a logo, and we helped her visualize different branding options and restaurant design concepts incorporating her logo, which she could then use to present to investors to raise funding for expanding her business to different locations in Santa Marta, and surrounding beach towns along Colombia’s Caribbean coast.
